We met in the summer of 1998 after we graduated from college. We first saw each other at a surprise birthday party for a mutual friend, and began dating a few months later. We became engaged in November 2000, and married on October 6, 2001. Our wedding was on a perfect fall day, cool but sunny, surrounded by our family and friends.

Our marriage is based on mutual respect, trust and friendship. We continue to grow closer each and everyday. Communication is a huge part of our relationship. We make it a priority to sit down to dinner every night together to discuss the day. That is a tradition we look forward to continuing with our children!

We have some great role models in our parents, grandparents, and siblings. Our family has a total of over 200 years of happy marriages. Our parents are all hard working people who sacrificed and became successful for their families. We were both raised in families that made education a priority, which led to all of our siblings graduating from college and having rewarding careers. Our great upbringing led both of us to be All-State Athletes in high school.

We live in Avon, Indiana, a suburb just west of Indianapolis. We live in a newer neighborhood surrounded by wonderful neighbors who can’t wait to welcome another playmate to the group! There is a playground and pool located in the neighborhood, where we can go to swing and learn to swim! On our walk home, we can stop by the lake to feed the geese that gather there in the summer!

We enjoy the quiet life of living in a rural community, but also enjoy living so close to a world renowned city. We look forward to taking our child to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, the zoo, and to watch the summer time fireworks after the baseball games! We also look forward to the fall festival at the apple orchard with hayrides, and the downtown Fourth of July parade with friends! We truly live in the best of both worlds between the small town and big city.

Both of us have chosen careers that require others to put a tremendous amount of trust in us. We have been very successful in fulfilling that trust, and people know that they can depend on us. We hope that we can fulfill your trust as well.
