Jen was born and raised in a small town less than one hour north of Indianapolis. Her small town values did not change when she moved to the Indianapolis area after graduating from Purdue University. She maintains a strong, vibrant connection to her hometown and her family, who still live there.

Jen is a registered nurse at a local hospital just five minutes from our house. She works in the surgical recovery area and takes care of all ages, from infant to the elderly. She is blessed to be in a profession that has scheduling flexibility. She looks forward to having a part-time schedule that will allow her lots of time at home with the baby! Both Randy and Jen’s mom will help out on the days that Jen is at work (something that both Grandmas are already looking forward to )!

Jen is also very active in a women’s sorority that focuses on helping others. Once a year, everyone gathers at our house to make baby blankets for the homeless shelters and local children’s hospitals. She’s excited to share these activities with our child as they grow older.
